I'm Gabriel LeBlanc, but you can call me Gab. Come this fall, I'll be hitting the ground running at Mount Allison University, pursuing a Joint Bachelor of Arts in Music and Computer Science. I'm really looking forward to diving into this interdisciplinary path and exploring the connections between these seemingly disparate fields.

I consider myself an avid multimedia enthusiast, with a particular fondness for music. However, I'm also deeply invested in film, interactive entertainment, and literature. My appreciation goes beyond mere consumption; I enjoy analyzing these mediums, always trying to comprehend what makes great art truly great. My passion for music extends to the tangible art of the album/LP format, and I'm eager to explore music production. I can see myself owning a studio to produce for local artists someday.

My primary ambition is to carve out a meaningful path within the emerging field of interactive entertainment, especially narrative-focused video games. I genuinely believe this medium has immense, untapped potential for delivering profound experiences through its interactive element. This field uniquely brings together my skills and interests, offering a platform to share my human perspective and hopefully contribute to making the world a brighter place through the creation and dissemination of great art.

Beyond that, I'm fascinated by the Internet's potential for sharing knowledge and creative expression. The barrier to entry has never been lower for artists to create and share with an audience. I could easily see myself creating my own learning platform to share insights as an educator in some capacity. For me, any moment not spent pursuing creation or wisdom is simply time wasted.
